JOHN JAMES SELINGER
November 17th, 1948 – April 22nd, 2024
John James Selinger passed away peacefully at the Moose Jaw Extendicare on Monday, April 22nd, 2024, at the age of 75 years.
Don’t cry for me now, I have died,
for I’m still here, I’m by your side.
My body’s gone but my soul is here,
please don’t shed another tear.
I am still here, I’m all around,
only my body lies in the ground.
John was born in St. Helens, England and from there came to Canada with his parents at the age of 3 months old, where he made his home. He lived a full and vibrant life. John worked hard at Wakamow for 30 years, where he retired. John loved spending time outdoors. When he wasn’t working, he spent a lot of time with family and friends. He loved interacting with his nieces and nephews and brought great joy into their lives.
He was predeceased by his parents, John and Margaret Selinger; and brother, Wayne Selinger. Mourning John’s loss are his sister, Cheryl Selinger; brother, Murray Selinger; nieces and nephew: Amanda, Greg, and Ashley; and great nieces and nephews: Trysten, Kelly, Cody, Max, Weston, Logan, Taylor, Jayne, Lex, Ava, and Brooklynn. He will be greatly missed.
