You will find lots of fun activities in Moose Jaw this weekend. The following list highlights some events you won’t want to miss out on.

Drama Festival

Need more drama in your life? Then be sure to visit Peacock Collegiate this Saturday for the final day of the Saskatchewan Drama Association’s Region 2 Drama Festival. The doors will open at 12:45. The day will include performances from Central Collegiate (10 Ways to Survive the Zombie Apocalypse), Vanier (HINT), and Peacock (Law & Order: Fairy Tale Unit). Come out and support the students as they vie for a spot in provincials. Admission is $10 and tickets are available at the door.

Show and Tell with Pride

Do you have a story or an object of some significance to the LGBTQ2+ community? Stop by the Western Development Museum on Saturday at 2 p.m. to share with others. The afternoon will also include representatives from the WDM’s corporate office discussing an upcoming LGBTQ2+ history project. This is a free event, although regular admission applies to view museum galleries. 

Warriors vs. Swift Current Broncos

The Warriors will finish off a home-and-home series with the Broncos on Saturday. It is the last game of the regular season, so be sure to come out and support the Warriors before they start their playoff drive against the Blades the following weekend. The game starts at 7 p.m. Tickets are available at the Mosaic Place box office.  

Tuxford Pancake Breakfast

Who doesn’t love pancakes? Stop by the Tuxford Community Hall on Sunday from 10 to 11 a.m. Of course, pancakes will be served, along with scrambled eggs, meat, hash browns, along with coffee, tea, or juice. The cost is $7 for adults and $3 for kids five and up. 

Sixth Annual Musical Swing Concert

Get into the swing of things with this popular annual event, hosted by 15 Wing Fellowship. The show, which will be held at Timothy Eaton Gardens at 1 p.m. on Sunday, will feature performances by local musicians. The list of performers includes Alethia and the Alleycats, Kelly Sapergia and Ted McHolm, Capt. Rich MacDougall and the Cadors from 15 Wing, and more! The event will also include a penny parade and a 50-50 draw. Tickets are $6 per person and includes coffee and snacks. Proceeds will support assistance for military families, veterans, and community projects. 

Trinity United Stew Supper

Get into the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day with a hearty stew supper. This event will be held on Sunday at Trinity United Church (277 Iroquois St. West), with the lone sitting at 5:30 p.m. Can’t make it out? Take-out meals can be delivered, if necessary. Tickets are $17 each. Call Harvey at 306-693-5069 for tickets.

An Evening with Michelle Wright

Award-winning country artist Michelle Wright will deliver a fan-pleasing set list on Sunday night at the Cultural Centre. The show, which starts at 7:30 p.m., will feature a wide variety of hits.
