You will find lots of fun activities in and around Moose Jaw and area this weekend. The following list highlights some events you won’t want to miss out on.

Randomals at MJPL

Stop by the library from 10:30 to 12 this Saturday for a fun, animal-themed event. There will be lots of crazy, zany creatures for you to make using the recycled materials provided. This is a drop-in program suitable for ages two to 12.

Films for Friends

Moose Jaw Families for Change will once again offer its popular Films for Friends series this Sunday. You’re invited to a screening of Hotel Transylvania at the Kinsmen Inclusion Centre at 1 p.m. The cost is $5 and includes popcorn. Proceeds will go to the Saskatchewan Wildlife Federation.

Dungeons and Dragons Meet-Up

The Moose Jaw Gamers Association invites you to attend a D&D session this Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Moose Jaw Public Library. Bring your own Adventure League character or build one. Volunteers will be on hand to assist. This program is for ages 16 and up. Anyone under 16 must be accompanied by an adult. Copies of the Player’s Handbook will be available for reference.

Artist Reception

Artist Jessie Zoerb’s new show, Hope on a String, is now on display at the Cultural Centre. The opening reception will be held on Saturday from 2 to 4 p.m. There will be live music and treats provided. The exhibit itself runs from now until Feb. 14.

Radio Control Fundraiser

Enjoy a night out, while helping a local organization. The Moose Jaw Radio Control Aircraft Club will host a rib and Caesar night at the Eagles Club on Saturday, beginning at 5. Tickets are $20 each and will be available at the door.

Robbie Burns Celebration

It’s the one night of the year we are a wee bit Scottish. Celebrate Robbie Burns at Timothy Eaton Garden on Saturday, beginning at 5:30 p.m. The toast to the haggis and the supper will start at 6:15. This will be followed by toasts and live entertainment.

Warriors vs. Broncos

Game on! Your Moose Jaw Warriors will host the Swift Current Broncos on Saturday. The puck drops at Mosaic Place at 7 p.m. Tickets are available through the Mosaic Place box office.

Town and Country Singles Dance

Get your dancing shoes on! The Moose Jaw Town and Country Singles Dance will be held on Saturday from 7:30 to 11 p.m. at the Church of Our Lady Community Centre (566 Vaughan St. West). The music will be provided by Two Stepp. Married couples are welcome. The cost is $15, which includes a lunch.
