Art lovers will definitely want to stop by Laura Hamilton’s Spring Studio Tour on Saturday. The event, which will be held from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., will feature snacks, refreshments and — of course — Hamilton’s beautiful artwork and merchandise. Be sure to take advantage of a 15 per cent discount on canvas reproductions. Hamilton’s studio is located at 128 Blue Sage Drive.
Moose Jaw Business Expo
The annual Moose Jaw Business Expo will be held Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Exhibition Convention Centre. Stop by and visit one of the many booths! There is something for everyone. Don’t forget — attendees have a chance to win $1 million! Admission is just $5 and will give you an entry fee for the million dollar prize.
Taoist Tai Chi Open House
Looking to try something new? Want to exercise but don’t want to go to the gym? This Saturday from 11 a.m. to noon you can give tai chi a try. The local group is holding an open house where you can learn all about tai chi and even pick up a few moves. It is a great activity for all ages and abilities! The open house will be held in the downstairs social hall. Bring a friend!
One Night with You at the Cultural Centre
Who doesn’t love Elvis? Dean Z, a renowned Elvis tribute artist, will perform at the Cultural Centre on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. You can expect to hear some of Elvis’ most beloved songs. Tickets can be purchased at the Cultural Centre’s box office.
Karaoke Night at the Legion
Warm up your vocal cords and get ready to belt out your favourite hits. The Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 59 will host a karaoke night with DJ Rod Willier on Saturday, beginning at 8:30 p.m. in the Legion lounge. The event is open to everyone.
Classical Concert at St. Andrew’s
It will be an evening of beautiful music, as Briercrest Onstage presents its annual Classical Concert. The event will be held on Sunday at 7 p.m. at St. Andrew’s United Church. This year, Briercrest will performing Haydn. Tickets are $10 for adults and $8 for students.
