Yesterday, around 7:30 p.m., Moose Jaw Police Service executed a search warrant in the 600 block of Fourth Ave. NE as part of an ongoing drug investigation.
Police are said to have found a loaded, prohibited handgun and cocaine worth around $3,000.
As a result, a Moose Jaw woman has been charged with trafficking cocaine. An adult male from Calgary has been charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, proceeds of crime, and several firearm-related offenses.
Both are being held in custody. Names have not been released.
Police continue to investigate.
