The City of Moose Jaw's landfill will be temporarily closed this weekend due to the heavy rainfall that fell on Friday.
The landfill will be closed starting Friday afternoon until Sunday, June 23. The moisture has left the landfill impassable for both residential and commercial traffic.
City hall expects the landfill to resume operations on Monday, June 24 at 7 a.m.
The municipality thanks residents for their patience and apologizes for the inconvience.
