Today is shaping up to be cold and wet. Friday will be cloudy with a 60 per cent chance of light snow. The wind will come from the north at 20 km/h before tapering off in the afternoon. The temperature will fall to -14 C in the afternoon with the wind chill near -22.

Approximately 2 to 4 cm of snow will fall this evening. The temperature will be about -15 with the wind child hovering around -25. There is a risk of frostbite.

The average high for today is -7.1 C and the average low is -17.7. The all-time high is 12.2 C (1992) and the lowest temperature recorded on this date is -40.5 C (1996).

Saturday is expected to have a high of -13, while Sunday's high should be -22. You can also expect a lot of snow this weekend, so be prepared.
