How should the city respond to media requests?

How long should it take for someone from the city to respond to a inquiry from the public?

These are the types of issues at the heart of the city's new proposed communications policy.

The policy has generated plenty of debate at city council in recent weeks, and now the City of Moose Jaw is asking for residents to provide their own feedback.

The communications policy includes guidelines on several issues, including:

  • media relations;
  • public engagement;
  • construction communication;
  • social media;
  • customer service.

You can have your say on the proposed policy. First, visit the city’s website for more information on the policy itself. Then, please provide any comments to Craig Hemingway, the city’s communications manager, via email at [email protected].

The deadline for comments is Wednesday, July 24 at 11:59 p.m.
