How about cleaning the entire Bus windows and seats twice a day.
Sweeping twice a day.
Emptying the garbage twice a day.
Cleaning the driver area twice a day.
Greeting kids from JK to grade 3 with no masks on. (Safety issue for the driver)
Giving High School students a mask so they can get on the Bus.
This year we received a 0.000000 raise and will not be paid one cent for this extra work.
Looking after and keeping these kids safe while driving in the Valley is a challenge!
So, being treated like a piece of garbage by your Bus Company is the norm.
Many drivers are tired of being abused and threatened by their office.

In 1963 my dad Alex Nepitt was delivering fuel oil in a fuel truck when we were driving by the station. All I remember is our oil truck being covered with glass and debris after a loud explosion. My dad was worried that we could catch fire or blow up. I was only 9 years old and very scared but my dad calmed me down. The building was destroyed but I remember seeing a Coke bottle on the front steps as we drove away. This was a very sad time for the people who passed away and their relatives and friends.
