We are so very sorry for the family of Russy. Please accept our sincere condolences. We loved reading his muses in the Sentenel and looked forward to a new antidote to giggle over every week. Dunns Valley holds many memories with Russy in them.

This is not acceptable. If a patient needs LTC the government should, at minimum, assign a LTC within their own community, and on a waiting list for the one of their choice. To be sent up to 150km away is insane for spouses, family and friends. Seniors wishes need to be respected. They have worked their whole lives, to just be discarded and forgotten about is sickening. Remember, this will be all of us in the future.

84% of LTC are privatized. They are what is broken.
