Looks interesting and would be a welcome addition to the area. I don't like the trend of pushing inclusive housing away from view such as tucked away at Penrose as someone else suggested it should go. It will look a lot nicer than the half built building in place now. They were doing some construction on it earlier this year and then it just went cold.

Ah, thank you councillor Jane for your contribution to the argument against affordable housing: that old chestnut known as traffic concerns.

Lovely to see an unsung volunteer honoured in this way. Would love to ask the councillor on the far left of the photo what is she doing to create more green space and recreational opportunities in her ward three, north of Davis Drive between Main and Leslie. The most underserved ward in town along with Ward 4 also on the north side of Davis. Isn't it interesting how the more economically challenged neighbourhoods get overlooked time and again.

I'm still waiting to see trails and amenities built in Ward 3, which is north of Davis Drive between Leslie and Main Street approximately. It's really troubling to me that the lower income neighborhoods in our town are always passed over for the goodies.
I think the councillor for life needs to work a little harder for her ward constituents.

Can't blame tariffs on rent increases though. Lords be greedy sometimes.

I am a fan of libraries in general. And the staff at the Newmarket Library are top-notch. That being said, our library facility is so outdated and our council is out of touch. I guess if it hasn't have anything to do with hockey or restaurants on Main Street they're not
interested.
If you want to grow library membership please build us a new library that feels spacious and inviting and has parking!
Gosh, have you seen the libraries in King City or Bradford? Gorgeous! Of course we all know the Aurora one is fantastic. I go there a couple of times a year and it is always very busy with all ages!
Finally , I agree that Gordon Prentice should be given credit for his research into this matter.

I completely forgot about this. I've been in prior years and honestly it's not much of an attraction to me. It's a real shame that Aurora is so hostile to homeless men.

It's a shame that any real action on this only came about after a post on the Newmarket subreddit.

I'm curious is there any actual data to support the installation of these bollards? Has there actually been a decrease in speed?

Funny how we never see any new trails or amenities in Ward 3.
