Why would the City need fleet management software, just another unnecessary expense. Just tell the operators to turn the vehicles off when not in use, and if they don't then penalize them in some way. It's time the City started demanding that the city workers be accountable to their employer and acting appropriately upon instructions from that employer, and for the City to stop coddling City workers and expecting them to follow instructions and rules and for there to be consequences when they don't. This isn't rocket science, but every time there is an issue at City Hall it seems like we need some type of technology to study the issue, how ridiculous, let's start using the brains we have.

I know a number of people who won't go downtown to shop, at all, if they can find a similar or the same product at Canadian Tire, Walmart, etc. Why would you pay the city a dollar for a half hour just to be able to purchase something. I think this is an issue that the Downtown Business Association really needs to address with the city if they want more patrons in their businesses.

The loss of privileges for non-attendance would probably be very effective. However, providing rewards for the basic responsibility of attendance is ridiculous, and students will soon learn that in the real world there are no "prizes" for meeting one's basic responsibilities in the performance of one's duties. Offering an opportunity of a free car is just ridiculous. As a tax payer I'm not in the business of providing free cars for fulfilling basic responsibilities. Another ridiculous suggestion is enlarging parking lots, how exactly does that promote education?

Deadlines for assignments should be adhered to and group work can be positive, as long as students understand that as a group you would be graded as a group, regardless of the input of individuals within the group, that's a huge part of learning to work effectively, as a group.

The major thing that struck me was that the students focused on what others should do and didn't discuss, at all, what they can do, hmmm.

If Right To Life is considered a registered charity, then Right To Abortion organizations need to be given the same designation. Why should an organization be given "charitable organization" status simply because they wish to proliferate a moral stance? That's not charity....it's politics.
