And yet we have spray parks operating, how much water do they use on a daily basis?

My sentiments exactly, you should be turning off the lights not wasting electricity unnecessarily.

I couldn't agree more, when I moved the cap was 12K and that was the reason I moved here.
I wanted a small town that was going to stay a small town. We have never been allowed to water freely in the 23 years I have lived here. My taxes keep increasing to pay for all this growth yet I have not seen one benefit or change that has increased the quality of my life here, in fact just the opposite, especially noise and traffic. John Reilly you have my vote as well.

Exactly where are we supposed to store these monstrosities, the three the town insists I have to pay for already take up too much space in my driveway, adding a larger one will only make it worse. How about the town gives us an option to opt out of the service altogether as a way to save money.

Well said! Be kind, you don't know what anyone else is going through.

I think Council is forgetting that a lot of us moved to Okotoks because of the population cap that was in place, it was then increased a couple of times and subsequently removed without our input. We didn't sign on for this, we wanted to live in a small town and we were told it would remain a small town. Not everyone is about growth, and not all growth is necessary or in the best interest of the residents.

There is no point in attending. This is just another attempt from council to give the illusion that they are listening and acting on the wishes of their constituents. How can they expect us to submit pre approved questions when we haven't even heard what their plans are. This will just be like the removal of the population cap and all the other developments. They will do as they wish and too bad for those of us who have lived here and supported our community for 20 plus years.

I too have the same experience, every time the plow goes down our street it blocks our driveways with huge chucks of ice and debris 2- 3 feet high. This makes it impossible to get out of my drive way, and would destroy the bottom of my vehicle. I parked in on the street once to ensure I could get out, but they simply plowed the ice and debris up to the door handle on my vehicle. It is extremely difficult to move the huge chunks of ice and debris injuring my back to the point of medication. God help me if I have an emergency. I called the town and got the same response, too bad so sad it's your problem. I am a senior and my neighbors are in their 80's. You call it snow removal but you are not removing it, simply rearranging it for someone else to deal with. I wish you wouldn't plow the roads at all. Might be a good idea, you could save some money and not increase our taxes again. Alternatively, actually remove the snow from the streets instead up piling it up in our driveways.

My taxes keep increasing and yet I receive even less services than I did 23 years ago. I have not seen an increase in any service that benefits me. Not to mention that I can't access my own home easily due to road closures that all this development is causing. I agree this town was much better before the current council and it's imposed growth strategy. The developers should be paying the cost of all the infrastructure not those of us who have paid our taxes for 23 plus years as they are the only ones who benefit.
