I recall going to city hall and seeing her Majesty Queen Elizabeth's picture hanging on the wall, why not King Charles? England has a very strong influence on Canadian politics and our history. A lot of Canadians have ancestors who came here from England as well as other European countries. Please Mr. Mayor rethink your stance on this issue!

Jack Layton was the gentleman who took the Federal NDP to great heights. It was awesome when he officially became the leader of the Official Opposition in Parliament. I wish he had never passed away. This new leader I'm sorry about him losing his seat, but he just didn't push his or NDPs view harder

We don't know your family but we wanted to offer our sincere condolences on the tragic loss of your son. As it said no parent wants to outlive their child, but from his beautifully written obituary and our community's response, your son Connor has left a mark on Sault Ste Marie that will never be forgotten. As a mother myself I couldn't begin to imagine what you are going through but know our community is here to support however we can. May your treasured memories give comfort in the days ahead.

This is very odd for a candidate not to attend any debates. Mr. Stevenson, when he was Chief of Police was always at press conferences, and was willing, although careful with his choice of words, spoke his mind and desire for changes to our current laws. So it could be by orders of the party leaders for him not to attend debates or comment on certain topics. I'm curious if other Conservative candidates in other ridings are doing the same thing??

Mr. Carney, is one of the first "Prime Ministers" of Canada who chose to go to Europe and strengthen our relationships with those countries rather than running South of the border to Trump. Is Mr. Carney perfect, maybe not but his knowledge of finance may actually prove beneficial to Canadians as we face the threats, be they legimate or not, of President Trump.

What about employers who fire people based on their physical appearance and make statements like "you'll never be more than a 7 or 8" or hold a person's medical condition against them? Even when they were doing the job well.
