LINDA L. PERRY
October 8th, 1940- October 10th, 2020

With broken hearts we announce the passing of our mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother, Linda Perry, 2 days after her 80th birthday, on Saturday, October 10th, 2020. Linda was born in Herbert, SK and raised in Ernfold, SK. She married Calvin Perry in 1958 and started a family of 5 children.

Linda taught herself to type and ended up with the prestige of working in Premier Blakeney's office. She also had the privilege of campaigning for and with T.C. Douglas. One of her greatest loves was country music and Craven. She attended for 32 years. She would often be at the grandstand all day so as not to miss any of the acts.

Linda left her family with lasting memories. Grandchildren and great-grandchildren alike will remember Gramma partially by the warm afghans she made to wrap them in.

She was predeceased by her daughter, Cindy; parents, Florence and Melvin Biggs; in-laws, Joe and Edna Perry; sister, Marsha; and son-in-law, Glen. Linda will lovingly be remembered by Calvin; her children: Sherry, Lorelei, Lyndon (Tammy), and Lyle (Lana); sister, Sandra (Rich); brother, Rodney; as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, aunts, nieces and nephews.

Thank you to the amazing staff at Extendicare who gave Mom so much loving care, and to her friend Bill who showed her the ropes at her new home, and kept her out of trouble.

Mom you were touched by many and loved by all.

Due to the current health situation, a Private Family Service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations in Linda’s name may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 1910 McIntyre St, Regina, SK S4P 2R3. Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane. Andrew Pratt Funeral Director 306-693-4550 www.moosejawfuneralhome.com
