It is with sadness that we announce the death of our father and grandfather, Harvey Miller of Craik. Harvey was born in Craik, SK in 1938. Upon graduating Grade 12, Harvey moved to Lloydminster in 1957 to work at the Canadian Bank of Commerce. He was later transferred to Moose Jaw where he met his beloved wife, Millicent. Harvey worked at the bank and then Massey Ferguson before returning to the farm in Craik in 1967 where he enjoyed farming until his retirement. Harvey was an avid curler and enjoyed attending bonspiels in and around Craik each winter – sometimes with Marcie. As a mixed farmer, he was busy on the farm throughout the year however, he always made time to coach Tom’s minor hockey. In recent years, Harvey has been a resident of the Craik Health Center. The family would like to thank all of the Craik team for taking such great care of him. We also wish to thank the Davidson Health Center team for their caring end of life support on Sunday. Harvey was predeceased by his parents and siblings and his wife of 52 years, Millicent. He leaves to mourn his death, his children Thomas (Le-anna) and Marcie (Chris), former daughter-in-law Laney, and his grandchildren Shelby, Regan, Jody, Ryan and Victoria. We will all miss him dearly. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Craik Health Center Foundation. A graveside service will be held at the Craik Cemetery in the spring. In living memory of Harvey, a memorial planting will be made by W.J. Jones & Son Ltd. Please sign the memorial register at website: www.jonesparkview.com (Obituaries).
