Larry James Levesque, aged 76 years of Moose Jaw, SK passed away on Wednesday, June 26th, 2019 after a short battle with cancer.

He was predeceased by his father, Art; mother, Lois (née: Dunlop); brothers: Gerald, Ronnie and Bobbie; and sisters: Shirley, Carol-Ann, Louise and Cathie.  Larry is survived by his son, Todd (Vera); grandchildren, Hailey and Carter; brothers: Marvin (Jan), Ernie (Bev), and Doug; sisters, June and Marilyn (Len); along with three generations of nieces and nephews. 

Larry worked for Wakamow Valley Authority for over three decades and retired in 2015.  Larry enjoyed his many years working at Wakamow, along with the many friendships he made.  Larry was a kind-hearted, gentle, easy going man.  He saw the good in everyone and had many long lasting relationships.  He was a loving, fun-loving uncle who truly lived life his way.

Thank you to Dr. Vooght and Dr. Stushnoff, the staff of the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital, and the staff at Pioneer Lodge Memory Lane for the tender loving care shown to Larry in his final days.  A special thanks to Linda Hunter for assisting Larry with home care and transportation to his medical appointments. 

A Celebration of Larry’s Life will be held on Sunday, July 21st, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the Connor Park Pavilion situated off 9th Avenue SW, Moose Jaw, SK.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Larry’s name may be made to Wakamow Valley Authority, PO Box 1266, Moose Jaw, SK, S6H 4P9.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Todd Sjoberg, Funeral Director 306-693-4550 www.moosejawfuneralhome.com
