With hearts full of love and gratitude, we announce the passing of Otto Korbo.
He was born on March 14, 1935, in Coronach, SK. He went home surrounded by loved ones on April 23, 2019, at the age of 84. He loved his family and he loved his farm. He was skilled in many trades and everyone who knew him is better for it.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Isabel, and his children, Connie Hiltz (Garth) and family, Darla Wilson (Kevin) and family, Warren Korbo (Michelle) and family, Lisa Shelstead (Mark) and family, Kelly Fairbrother (Kim) and family, brother Anton Korbo (Louise), and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He is predeceased by his parents, George and Beatrice Korbo, and siblings, Arthur, Ole, George, and Marie. "It's all good."
A Celebration of Otto's life will be held at Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 15 Paul Drive, on Friday April 26, 2019 at 1:00PM. Rev. Dr. John Kreutzwieser will officiate. A private family interment will take place at Rosedale Cemetery. Donations in his memory can be made to the Lutheran Association of Missionaries and Pilots (LAMP), 15 Paul Dr., Moose Jaw, SK S6J 0A1. In loving memory of Otto, a memorial tree planting will be made by Jones-Parkview Funeral Services.
