Hazel Annie Hannah passed away peacefully on September 1, 2019 at Providence Place, Moose Jaw.  Hazel, at the age of 88 was predeceased by her beloved husband James (2002), parents Bill and Doreen Greensides, her grandson Curtis Hannah and by 4 brothers.  Hazel was born in the Davyroid District on November 27, 1930.  She attended the Zenith, Davyroid and Readlyn schools.  She moved to Moose Jaw in her youth and found employment at the Union Hospital, working in housekeeping.  She met Jim while in Moose Jaw, and the couple wed on July 16, 1949.  After her marriage, Hazel was happy to stay at home to look after her 2 boys, Barry and Brian until they grew up.  She later worked at the Moose Jaw Co-op.  She was an avid golfer and bowler until Jim developed some health concerns.  Hazel will be lovingly missed by her sons Barry, Brian (Nancy), her grandchildren Cory, John, Sarah, and by her 7 great-grandchildren.  Her memory will be cherished by her 5 sisters, 1 brother and by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.   Hazel will be laid to rest at Sunset Cemetery, beside her husband Jim following the service.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in Hazel's memory.  In living memory of Hazel a memorial tree planting will be made by Jones-Parkview Funeral Services. Please sign the memorial register at website: www.wjjonesandson.com or www.parkviewfuneralchapel.ca  (Obituaries).
