Margaret Rose Haag, aged 88 years of Moose Jaw, SK passed away on Wednesday, September 11th, 2019.  Margaret was born on January 23rd, 1931 in Corning, SK.  Shortly after, the family moved to Rose Valley, SK, where she grew up and took her schooling, before moving to Prelate, SK.  Margaret met Matt Haag, her husband of 65 years, and they moved to Moose Jaw in 1968 where they raised their family.  Margaret actively volunteered at the Moose Jaw Union Hospital and Providence Place.  She was predeceased by her parents, Anton and Magdelina Zimmer; 10 brothers and 1 sister; and daughter-in-law, Kathy Haag.  Margaret will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Matt; daughters, Dereth (Gord) and Leanne (Duane); son, Bart; 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; and sisters, Tillie and Barb (Ted).  The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 17th, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. in Church of Our Lady, 566 Vaughan St, Moose Jaw SK with Father Leonardo Tamayo as the presiding celebrant.  A Prayer Service will be held on Monday, September 16th, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in Moose Jaw Funeral Home.  As an expression of sympathy, donations in Margaret’s name may be made to the Church of Our Lady Building Fund, 566 Vaughan St, Moose Jaw SK S6H 6L3 or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Saskatchewan, 1738 Quebec Avenue, Unit 26, Saskatoon, SK S7K 1V9.  Arrangements are entrusted to Moose Jaw Funeral Home, 268 Mulberry Lane.  Gary McDowell, Funeral Director 306-693-4550 www.moosejawfuneralhome.com
