Rose Jeanette Drake (née: Hiebert) passed away peacefully with family by her side on Monday, June 10th, 2019 at the age of 76 years. Rose was born on November 12th, 1942 to Peter and Anne (née: Loewen) Hiebert, and was the youngest of 7 children.
She was predeceased by her parents and her siblings, with the exception of brother, Dale (Helen) Hiebert and sister-in-law, Bev (Gordon) Hiebert.
Rose graduated grade 12 in 1961 from Central Collegiate in Moose Jaw, SK and shortly there-after married Dale Drake in March of 1962. Together they had three children: Steve (1964), Tim (1967), and Sarah (1987). Rose was a devoted wife, mother and homemaker. She will be sadly missed by her 6 grandchildren: Katie, Meagan, Brittany, Courtney, Zachary and Grace; and 4 great-grandchildren: Jayden, Everett, Caiden and Caleb. Rose was a very artistic and musical person who loved to sing and will be best remembered for her ability to play the piano. Her faith never wavered and she could always find comfort in her brothers and sisters in the congregation, and by leaning on her God Jehovah. Rose will be deeply missed by her friends and family, numerous nieces and nephews, in-laws and everyone who knew her.
