Fred "Freddy" Roland Braun went home to be with our Lord Jesus on October 10, 2023. Born six weeks prematurely on November 23, 1931 Fred lived to be 91 years of age. His parents Hugo and Maria Braun immigrated to farmland purchased near Tyvan, SK in 1929. This land would become Fred's calling for 70 years of his life where he alongside his wife Gail operated a mixed farm. Married in 1957 Fred and Gail were blessed with 66 years together. Fred had many passions including his Christian faith, family, friends, flying his single engine plane, and spending family time at the cottage. He was gifted musically playing piano, wind instruments, and singing. Fred had a great time volunteering at Kedleston Gospel Camp and was always willing to lend a hand to anyone in need.

Fred is survived by his wife Gail; sisters Marlies McKay and Cheryl (Jack) Alexander; children Lisa (Kevin) Dautremont, David (Valerie) Braun, and Darcie (Calvin) Wells; grandchildren Jonathan (Deanne) Dautremont, Jared (Lyndsy) Dautremont, Megan (Carter) Chute, Jason Dautremont, Jordaan (Bailey) Braun, Chelsea (Dominik) Klassen, Nathan Braun, Noah Braun, Everett Wells, Erin Wells; great-grandchildren Jameson and Henry Chute.
