S&P/TSX composite up slightly Tuesday, U.S. stock markets also rise
TORONTO — Canada's main stock index rose Tuesday, while U.S. markets were also up, though indexes on both sides of the border closed down slightly from late-morning highs. The S&P/TSX composite index was up 72.97 points at 19,994.78.
