SASKATOON -- As has been the case all season, it didn’t take long for the Saskatoon Berries to get back on the winning track after a loss in Western Canadian Baseball League action.

One night after a close loss at the hands of the Okotoks Dawgs, the Berries scored three runs in an inning four times and went on to a 13-2 victory over the Lethbridge Bulls in Lethbridge. The news wasn’t as good for two other Saskatchewan teams playing out west, as the Regina Red Sox fell 9-3 to Okotoks and the Moose Jaw Miller Express dropped a 12-1 decision to the Medicine Hat Mavericks. Back home, the Weyburn Beavers took a 9-2 win over the Swift Current 57’s.
