The Moose Jaw Events Centre has just announced that legendary hip hop icon Ice Cube will be coming to Moose Jaw this April 28, and tickets can be purchased as early as this Friday, Feb. 23

The police service presented an update on its community safety strategy during the recent Board of Police Commissioners’ meeting, which looked at ways the organization plans to address those problems and enhance community safety.

The community’s crime rate decreased 22.9 per cent from 2002 to 2022, while its crime severity index rating also fell by the same amount, data from the police service show.

The come-and-go open house sessions offer people a chance to view the key components of the proposed venue and acquire answers to questions from the City of Moose Jaw, the Ministry of Environment, and consultants from GHD and Associated Engineering.

The strategic plan open house occurs Friday, March 1, from 1 to 7 p.m. at the Sportsman Centre at 276 Home Street East. Staff with Wakamow Valley Authority (WVA) and consulting firm Non-Profit Governance Solutions will be on hand to answer questions and record suggestions.

The organization’s luncheons bring together female leaders — such as members of 15 Wing, business owners, executives, entrepreneurs and elected officials — to share their experiences, inspirations, and best practices.
