During its Aug. 11 regular meeting, city council voted unanimously to approve amendments to the animal services agreement between the city and Humane Society for the operation of animal control services.

Closure in effect 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

The event’s purpose was to raise funds for the Women Fore Women scholarship program, which helps young women in Moose Jaw pursue post-secondary education centred around their chosen sports.

All proceeds from the event supported the Moose Jaw Humane Society and the Moose Jaw & District Food Bank.
