You will find lots of fun activities in Moose Jaw this weekend. The following list highlights some events you won’t want to miss out on.

41st Annual Antiques and Collectibles Show

Looking for that hard-to-find collectible? Be sure to stop by the massive Antiques and Collectibles show. This year there will be over 180 tables, including 30 new vendors. A wide variety of items will be available, including car parts and manuals, licence plates, toys, vinyl records, glassware, and so much more! The event is hosted by the Sukanen Ship Pioneer Village and Museum. The show began on Friday and runs again on Saturday at the Exhibition Grounds from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is just $6. 

Moose Jaw Thunder Creek Model Train Show

If you love trains then the Western Development Museum will be the place to be this weekend. The long-running model railroad show returns on Saturday and Sunday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. In addition to model train displays and vendors, the Saskatchewan Lego Users Group (S.L.U.G.) will once again be in attendance. Regular museum admission applies. Entrance is free for WDM members. A cash-only concession will be available.

Zion’s Village Flea Market

Zion United Church is holding a flea market this weekend. The event began on Friday but will also run on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. You can expect to find vendors like Avon and Norwex, along with good quality garage sale items. A concession will be available. There is no entry fee but they are accepting donations for the Moose Jaw & District Food Bank.

Toastmasters Contests

Local Toastmasters will participate in a pair of contests this weekend that will surely be entertaining and engaging. The SW Sask. Area Humorous and International contests will be held on Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. at West Park Crossing (1801 Meier Drive). Everyone is welcome to attend. 

Dance for Hunger 

On Sunday, Dance Images by BJ will once again be hosting its popular Dance for Hunger event. The show will be held at Peacock Collegiate at 6:30 p.m. You can expect top-notch performances from the studio’s talented dancers. Admission is $5 and a donation to the Moose Jaw & District Food Bank.
