You will find lots of fun activities in and around Moose Jaw and area this weekend. The following list highlights some events you won’t want to miss out on.
Homegrown Farmer’s Market
Shop local at the Homegrown Farmer’s Market this Saturday. As usual, the market runs from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. along Langdon Crescent. You will find all kinds of tasty treats, homemade items, and fresh produce. Be mindful of restricted access, due to construction.
Prairie Goat Expo
The Saskatchewan Goat Breeders Association will hold the Prairie Goat Expo this weekend. The event started on Friday and continues on Saturday and Sunday at the Moose Jaw Exhibition Grounds. There will be a production sale, trade show, and demonstrations. There will also be a youth goat and sheep show, yearling futurity, and buck shows. A concession will be available. Brickspo
A popular event with both kids and adults, Brickspo returns to the Western Development Museum this weekend. The fun starts at 9 a.m. and runs until 5 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. There will be lots of LEGO creations on display, thanks to the Saskatchewan LEGO Users Group (SLUG). A LEGO yard sale will be on site, allowing guests to purchase new and used pieces and kits. A concession will be available, thanks to the Friendly City Optimist Club. Regular museum admission applies. Free for WDM members.
SCRAPS 9 Lives Boutique
SCRAPS’ 9 Lives Boutique is back at the Town ‘n’ Country Mall. The store has been open since July 23 and will remain open for one more day on Saturday, July 27. You can stop by and pick up great gift items for your furry friends. Adoptable cats and kittens will also be on location, so perhaps you will be able to find your newest family member! The store is open from 12 to 5:30 p.m.
Community BBQ
This Saturday you can grab a bite to eat for free, thanks to CUPE. A free community BBQ will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Elgin Park. Stop by and enjoy some free food and entertainment!
