You will find lots of fun activities in and around Moose Jaw and area this long weekend. The following list highlights some events you won’t want to miss out on.

Homegrown Farmer’s Market

Shop local at the Homegrown Farmer’s Market this Saturday. As usual, the market runs from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. along Langdon Crescent. You will find all kinds of tasty treats, homemade items, and fresh produce. This weekend there will be live music from Promised Land Band. The show will run from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Be mindful of restricted access, due to construction.

This ‘n That Fall Market

Stop by the market at First Free Methodist Church on Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. There will be lots of great items, including handmade crafts and rummage sale items. There will be a bake table.

Tai Chi at the Moose Jaw Public Library

Get ready to relax this weekend. The Moose Jaw Chinese Association and the Moose Jaw Public Library will offer its tai chi program on Saturday at 10 a.m. Please note the program has moved indoors and can be found in the South Meeting Room on the second floor of the library. This is a drop-in program. Please wear comfortable clothing.

End of Summer Free Skating

Summer is rapidly coming to a close. As such, Mosaic Place is offering free public skating on Saturday from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. and again on Sunday from 2:30 to 4 p.m. Participants have an opportunity to win door prizes. Kids under 12 must wear a helmet.

Labour Day BBQ

The Moose Jaw & District Labour Council will be holding a free community BBQ on Monday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Union Centre. There will be burgers and hot dogs available. There will also be face painting, a clown, and a bouncy castle. Guests are asked to bring lawn chairs.
