The Moose Jaw Warriors will finally return to the ice at Mosaic Place on Tuesday, Sept. 14.
The Warriors will host the Brandon Wheat Kings to kick off their pre-season schedule. In total, Moose Jaw will play five games before the league’s regular season commences on Friday, Oct.1.
The rest of the Warriors' pre-season schedule includes a road game against the Swift Current Broncos on Friday, Sept. 17, with a rematch at Mosaic Place on Saturday, Sept. 18. Moose Jaw will close out the pre-season with another home-and-home set against their rivals, the Regina Pats. This will include a game at Mosaic Place on Friday, Sept. 24, with the two teams meeting again at the Brandt Centre the following night on Saturday, Sept. 25.
The WHL pre-season will feature 52 games from Sept. 10 to 25. The schedule will include two mini tournaments, including one hosted by the Everett Silvertips and another hosted by the Tri-City Americans.
Several games will take place in non-WHL towns, including a tilt between the Saskatoon Blades and Prince Albert Raiders in Warman, Sask. on Sept. 25.
The complete 2021-22 WHL Regular Season schedule for the Western Conference will be announced on Wednesday, June 23. The schedule for the Eastern Conference will be announced at a later date.
