There are two days left in CAA Saskatchewan’s Worst Roads Campaign, which means residents still have the chance to vote for some of the most undriveable streets in Moose Jaw.

There are three roads in The Friendly City in the top 10, which is one less than a week ago. Currently, Coteau Street West is in fifth place, followed by Fourth Avenue Southwest bridge/Thunderbird Viaduct in seventh spot and 13th Avenue Northwest in 10th position.

In first place is Highway 8 near Moosomin, followed by Highway 5 near Buchanan in second and Highway 2 near Cudworth.

Selections and votes for worst unsafe roads that have potholes, poor road maintenance, poor road signs or road markings, unpaved roads, traffic congestion, no or poor cycling infrastructure, or poor transit infrastructure are easy and takes a few minutes. One vote per road per road user in a 24-hour period is acceptable.

New this year is one grand prize of a $1,000 Shell Gift Card courtesy of CAA Saskatchewan, which it will select through a random draw from all eligible votes. The winner will be announced on April 30.

To nominate and vote for the worst, most unsafe roads:

  • Click caask.ca/worstroads
  • Select a road — municipal or provincial — and a specific segment or section

CAA Saskatchewan’s social media channels — including Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn — will be used to promote the campaign for worst roads nominations and votes.

CAA Worst Roads is an online engagement campaign aimed at drawing attention to the province’s worst, most unsafe roads. The top 10 worst roads for 2024 will be shared with stakeholders, including government and business leaders in hopes of sparking conversation and action.
