MOOSE JAW — At Hope Ministries Moose Jaw Inc., our mission is simple: to feed those in need. As a local non-profit, we are often associated with helping the unhoused, and while that is certainly part of what we do, our reach extends far beyond.
We serve seniors on fixed incomes who struggle to make ends meet and those who face another kind of hunger: loneliness. For many older adults, joining us for a meal is less about food and more about community.
We support families doing their best to stretch limited resources – parents who work hard but still can’t quite cover the cost of food after rent and utilities. We’re here for those who’ve recently lost jobs and just need a bit of help getting through a tough time.
And we serve the working poor—people with steady employment whose wages simply don’t match the rising cost of living.
But our meals are about more than nutrition—they’re about connection. When people gather at Hope Ministries, everyone knows everyone. There’s laughter, shared stories, and a sense of belonging. It’s like one big family sitting down together, reminding each other that they’re not alone.
At Hope Ministries, we believe no one should have to choose between paying the bills and putting food on the table. Whatever the reason, whatever the story, if someone comes to us hungry, we will feed them—with dignity, warmth, and no judgment.
