Over the past two days, the Moose Jaw Police Service has been kept busy focusing on traffic safety.

The Selective Enforcement Program (STEP) has now concluded for Moose Jaw.

Over the past two days, 549 contacts with the public were made. This resulted in 202 summary offence tickets, seven warrants, and two cannabis charges.

STEP is a multi-agency task force focused on improving traffic safety in Saskatchewan. The project involves representatives from municipal police agencies, Saskatchewan Highway Patrol, Saskatchewan Justice, Saskatchewan Government Insurance, Ministry of Finance, and RCMP.
