Moose Jaw welcomed the first birth of the New Year on Jan. 1st at 3:19 p.m., a baby girl (their first child!) for Piyu and Rahul Gajipara, weighing 4lb 11 oz., according to the Women's Health Unit at the Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital.
Piyu and Rahul named their new baby Mishty, which means 'sweet one.'
