MOOSE JAW – The City of Moose Jaw advises of a temporary closure for roadwork impacting Main Street North and River Street beginning on Monday, July 14.
From July 14 to July 18, weather permitting, roadwork is planned to take place along Main Street N from River Street to Manitoba Street. While sidewalks will remain open on both sides of Main Street North, intersection access for motorists will be as follows:
- High Street – Open to east, west, and north
- River Street – Closed
- Manitoba Street – Open to east and west
During this period, Transit Route 4 – Westmount will see a detour around the area, but no bus stops will be impacted.
From July 18 to July 23, weather permitting, the city’s contractor will undertake resurfacing work in the alley west of Main Street North between River Street and Manitoba Street. The alley will be closed during this time.
This roadwork is part of the Paved Roadways and Sidewalks project, as outlined on the Engineering Services Capital Projects page.
The City reminds motorists to follow all temporary signage for the safety of everyone. No more #NotoriouslyClose calls.
