Just one day after announcing a seventh presumptive case of COVID-19, the province has announced an eighth case.

The resident, who is in their 50s, was tested in Regina following a trip to Vancouver.

The person is currently self-isolating at home.

Public Health officials are following up with anyone who had close contact with this individual who may be at risk of developing COVID-19. If you are notified, you will need to take further measures.

The Government of Saskatchewan has more information on COVID-19 available online, including a self-assessment tool.
