Of the total cases, 128 are in the Saskatoon area, and 51 are from the Regina area. Ten cases have been reported in the central region of the province, 50 from the northern region, and 15 cases in the south region, which includes Moose Jaw.

The 15 cases in the south include two new reports on Saturday, but no hospitalizations have been needed as of yet. Two patients have recovered.

Officials once again stated that there is no evidence that animals can be infected with or transmit COVID-19, but the possibility is still being looked into.

Residents are reminded that if they have COVID-19, they should avoid contact with animals just in case, and any pets in the household should remain in isolation with the patient.
