Saskatchewan confirms 13 new cases of COVID-19 in province

There are now 206 cases of COVID-19 cases in Saskatchewan, with 36 individuals having recovered from the virus

Public Health is now reporting 13 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Saskatchewan, bringing the provincial total to 206.

Four individuals are currently in hospital due to the virus, with three in inpatient care and one in the intensive care unit.

Additionally, six more people have now recovered from COVID-19, bringing the total number of recoveries to 36 in the province.

Public health is still investigating the transmission history of 56 cases, but is reporting that of the total cases in the province, 96 cases are travel-related, 44 cases were caused by community or household contact, and 10 have no known exposures. 

The province has now performed 11,395 COVID-19 tests, and continues to have the second-highest testing rate per capita among the provinces.

Public health continues to order residents to limit all gatherings, inside and outside, to a maximum of 10 people and to avoid having anyone visit your home who does not live there at this time.
