The City of Moose Jaw is warning residents of some upcoming construction that may disrupt their daily commute.

The intersection of Thatcher Drive and Main St. N will be undergoing concrete repair beginning May 21, with a planned completion of May 22, weather permitting. Barricades will be left in place for two weeks to protect the concrete as it settles.

Also beginning May 21, 11th Ave NW will be undergoing a reconstruction project and will be closed from Athabasca St. to Caribou St. The construction is expected to take until June 8 to complete, conditions permitting.

The City is asking residents to have all vehicles on the street and in front driveways removed before construction begins and to avoid watering their lawns during that time, as moisture could delay the work.

As always, the City asks residents to obey posted signage and delays around construction areas, for the safety of both the crews and motorists.
