RCMP responded to over 60 COVID-19 calls last week

Saskatchewan RCMP members continue to respond to phone calls related to COVID-19.

For the week of May 22 to 28, inclusive, there were 62 calls for service related to COVID-19.

This includes:

  • 13 complaints of large gatherings of over 10 people; 
  • three complaints of people failing to self-isolate when allegedly required to do so; and
  • 46 other COVID-19 related complaints.

No charges were laid as a result.

The RCMP continues to investigate such calls and reminds the public that the province's Public Health Order remains in place.
