The Spring Band Blast will be hitting the stage as a fundraiser for the Litttle Princess Ball, which supports the women’s health unit at Dr. F.H. Wigmore Regional Hospital.

On Friday, Apr. 5 at the Silo and Grain Exchange, Random Honesty will perform after Marc D’entremont warms up the crowd at 8:30 p.m. There’s no cover fee, and the band will be accepting cash donations to support the W.H.U.

This is the second year the band has hosted the event, and the Silo has offered their venue free of charge for the fundraiser. Last year’s event raised $120, which the group is happy to have been able to collect.

The group promises it will be a fun night of music and is looking forward to playing in support of a local charity.

Random Honesty fuses a blend of punk, Celtic, and folk genres in both covers and originals, and try to give their sets a variety of music — top 40 hits and deep cuts alike. Annie MacLeod is the most recent addition to the group, and the band is excited to have her.

“The Princess Ball is an important fundraiser for Moose Jaw and surrounding area, and we are happy to help,” said Random Honesty, through Facebook.
