The Moose Jaw Police Service has arrested Matthew Charles Gray after conducting an investigation into allegations of possession of child pornography.
The police serviced charged Gray, 35, with possession of child pornography contrary to the Criminal Code. The police had been investigating Gray for other criminal offences and executed a search warrant at his residence a few months ago, according to a police news release. During the search police seized computers, laptops and other devices.
The Moose Jaw Police Service worked in conjunction with the Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit (ICE), and through the investigation, was able to discover child porn on the devices.
Gray is scheduled to appear in provincial court on Monday, July 6.
Police continue to investigate the situation.
