It looks like a good time for the Phyllis Dewar outdoor pool to be closed for temporary maintenance, as cool and windy conditions settle in around Moose Jaw following the long weekend.
On Tuesday, July 4, the outdoor pool was closed for maintenance due to water clarity issues.
There has been no further information released regarding the closure of the pool, but an update is expected on Wednesday, July 5.
The update will also provide an estimated time of re-opening.
Other facilities have not been affected by the same water clarity issue.
As the Phyllis Dewar outdoor pool closes temporarily, residents are reminded that the Kinsmen Sportsplex is now open starting July 4. The Kinsmen Sportsplex has been closed for its annual three-week maintenance and this is now completed.
As well, Moose Jaw has five spray parks that remain open for public use.
There will be an announcement when the Phyllis Dewar outdoor pool is re-opened.
