As Saskatchewan works to flatten the curve, the province continues to slowly reopen.
Phase 2 of the Re-Open Saskatchewan plan begins tomorrow.
Businesses that will be able to begin operating as of May 19 include:
- retail businesses;
- shopping malls;
- some personal services (e.g. hairstylist/barber, registered massage therapist, acupuncturist and acupressurist); and
- public markets and farmer's markets.
Golf courses and drive-in theatres have already opened.
All businesses that are eligible to re-open must be in compliance with the province's guidelines. This includes adhering to cleaning and sanitation practices, accommodating spaces for physical distancing requirements, and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) where appropriate.
Please be reminded that other restrictions are still in place, such as limiting public and private gatherings to no more than 10 people and avoiding unnecessary travel. You should continue to maintain physical distancing by keeping two metres away from others and are advised to stay home if you are feel sick or are symptomatic.
