One person sent to hospital after incident that allegedly involved a gun

Officers arrested two adults in the home for unrelated outstanding warrants and breach of court orders.

One person was sent to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries following an incident in northeast Moose Jaw that allegedly involved a gun.

Moose Jaw police were asked to visit a home on Dec. 4 around 8:30 a.m., after EMS received an anonymous call saying there was an injured person in the house needing urgent medical care for a possible gunshot wound. 

Police responded and assisted EMS in caring for an adult male, whom they transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Officers also arrested two adults in the home for unrelated outstanding warrants and breach of court orders.

Members of the police service’s criminal investigation section were called in and continue to investigate the incident.
