The Moose Jaw Police Service has seized and searched a vehicle that fled from officers earlier, finding drugs and a firearm inside.

Police attempted to stop the vehicle on Sept. 3 in the downtown area when the driver fled at a high speed, later abandoning the vehicle in a parking lot later that evening for police to locate and search.

Following an investigation, MJPS seized the vehicle and obtained a search warrant, seizing $8,000 in cocaine, a firearm and ammunition from inside the vehicle.
