MJPS invites public to information session at the library

The police will hold a BBQ on Sept. 10, followed by a presentation at the public library at 1 p.m.

Want to know more about the police and what they do? You will have an excellent opportunity to find out more information next week.

The Moose Jaw Board of Police Commissioners is inviting residents to their next meeting. It will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 10 at 1 p.m. at the Moose Jaw Public Library. The presentation will be held in the south meeting room (upstairs).
 
During this meeting, the police will discuss a number of topics that will focus on their service to the community. This will include:

  • the MJPS budget;
  • policing priorities;
  • crime statistics;
  • the canine Unit.

The event will be proceeded by a community barbecue at the Crescent Park Amphitheatre from 11:30 to 1 p.m.

Everyone is welcome to attend the meeting and the barbecue.
