MOOSE JAW — The City of Moose Jaw and the Moose Jaw & District Chamber of Commerce congratulate Lynn Hjelte, our “Notoriously Good Neighbour” for August.
The City of Moose Jaw and the Moose Jaw & District Chamber of Commerce created the program to recognize the Notoriously Friendly, Notoriously Generous and Notoriously Kind- Hearted Moose Javians making a Notoriously Positive difference in our community.
Hjelte was nominated by Laura Lee Casemore, who spoke about the difference that Heljte
makes every day.
“Lynn fosters a strong and connected community within our block.
“He offers more than just proximity; he brings warmth, trust and a sense of security to the neighbourhood.”
Casemore added that her neighbour’s positive qualities include keeping an eye on others’ homes when they’re away and offering a friendly wave and chat.
As an official “Notoriously Good Neighbour,” Hjelte was awarded gift certificates to Tunnels of Moose Jaw, a token of appreciation for his contributions to the community.
