The All Stars open their run on Thursday afternoon against Little Mountain Little League out of Vancouver, with the contest slated for first pitch at 11 a.m. at Rose Diamond in Stanley Park.

The seven teams will each play one game a day through to the playoff round, with Moose Jaw -- the Prairies representative after defeating North Regina Little League in provincials two weekends -- receiving their bye on Sunday.

The All Stars’ tournament continues at 7 p.m. on Friday against the Atlantic representative from Sydney, N.S. before they take on the Alberta reps at 3:30 p.m. Saturday.

After their off day, Moose Jaw faces Ontario’s Ancaster Little League on Monday at 3:30 p.m., and host Rocky Mountain Little League at 12 p.m. on Tuesday before wrapping up their round robin against Quebecreps Mirabel Diamond Academy at 3:30 p.m on Wednesday,  Aug, 10.

The top four teams advance to the semifinals on Thursday, Aug. 11, with games at 11 a.m. and 5 p.m., followed by the bronze medal game at 9 p.m. and championship final at 12 p.m.

All games will be broadcast on www.cbc.ca.

The tournament champion will advance to the Little League World Series in Williamsport, Penn. from Aug. 17 through 28.
