Letter to the Editor: Where's Waldo?

Have you noticed any semblance of an MLA or an MP since COVID began in 2020? Even through a provincial and federal election?

Throughout this nonsense, I’ve been diligently trying to communicate with my MLA, my Premier, my MP and or their offices. I used to be on a first name basis with these entities. My MLA asked me, at least on two occasions, to be his campaign manager. As with my MLA, I sat as a director within my MP’s constituency association.

None of these offices held the dignity to return a response to my snail mail letters or emails. Even phone calls met with delay or ignored completely.
It’s just not our elected officials, government bureaucrats and municipal council members have gone AWOL. Makes me want to shout, “Where’s John Galt?” But I would do Ayn Rand a disservice. A more apt a petition, is “Where’s Waldo?”

Long before our communist loving Prime Minister went into hiding during the SNC scandal, and his other numerous ethic violations, many of our local MLAs and MPs suffered an alien abduction. Makes you wonder if Hillary Clinton or Jeffery Epstein prompted a Seth Rich or Jimmy Hoffa.

Trying to serve Notice of Liabilities these past couple of months was like catching chickens and snaring rats. NOLs sent registered mail returned to sender with the notice of uncollected. Undaunted, we persevered, overcame and adapted. The surprise on some of their faces when our thick packages were hand delivered to their undisclosed homes. Priceless!

These past couple of days, a friend and I tried to serve undelivered NOLs to a Regina MLA. Her constituency office doors locked. No notice of hours posted upon the door. Phone calls to office answering machine remained unanswered until shortly after 2:30 p.m.

Phone calls to this same MLA's legislative office were answered but left with no options to deliver. Deflecting, our pleasant voiced receptionist suggested sending our documents via email. Pressing for a reason for the lockdown, and reading between the lines of her evasive response, we learned a certain fringe group were now deemed dangerous terrorists and avoided at all costs. Saskatchewan legislature remains locked down, guarded with private security guards and barricaded— no flow through traffic from those unvaxxed truckers.

Our fearless leaders, those elected individuals to represent you and me, remain cowardice rodents hiding in a darkened corner. Rodents feeding and surviving off the corruption.

It causes me to question why we fund a Legislative building if no one labours out of their designated office. What value does that enormous edifice represent, except now, it’s akin to a giant plugged toilet full of human waste?

They have thrown all accountability out the window, including the baby.

My suggestion, constituents should call their local law enforcement agency initiating a missing person report for their elected officials.
